Originaire d’Anvers, le jeune belge Nico Dockx est un artiste dont le travail performatif est comme fasciné par la question de la résonance, de l’archive visuelle et sonore : comment on la détruit, conserve, ordonne, structure... Invité aux Urbaines, il invite à son tour White Circle Crime Club, un groupe d’indie rock plutôt noisy avec lequel il collabore depuis des années. Ce dernier a notamment tourné avec TV On The Radio et rassemble le collectif d’artistes Building Transmission et l’harmoniciste Jean Martens. Improvisation pluridisciplinaire et présentation de l’édition sortie à cet effet.

The young Belgian from Antwerp Nico Dockx is an artist whose performance work is fascinated by the question of resonance, of visual and audio archive: how to destroy, conserve, order, structure it…Invited to the Urbaines, he is in turn inviting White Circle Crime Club, a rather noisy indie rock band with which he’s been collaborating for years. The latter has been on tour with bands such as TV On The Radio and is composed of the group of artists Building Transmission and the harmonica player Jean Martens. Multidisciplinary improvisation and presentation of the edition released for that purpose.
