La réflexion thématique «l’art dans la ville» est menée en partenariat avec la fondation Nestlé pour l’Art.
Intervenants : Yvette Jaggi (présidente de la fondation les Urbaines), Sally de Kunst (directrice du Festival Belluard Bollwerk International), Tilo Steireif (artiste), Patrick de Rham (directeur des Urbaines), Joël Vacheron (sociologue), Workshop 15x10: David Vessaz et Laurent Saurer (architectes).
Tantôt terrain d’étude, plateforme d’échange et de décloisonnement, zone d’exposition ou de confrontation, le tissu urbain est indissociable des arts d’aujourd’hui. La complexité sociale, structurelle, culturelle et politique de la ville est donc un sujet de questionnement sans fin pour un festival tel que Les Urbaines, présent dans les lieux d’arts institutionnels et alternatifs autant que dans l’espace public

Sometimes a field of study, an exchange and decompartmentalization platform, exhibition or confrontation zone, the urban tissue is indissociable form arts today. Thus, the social, structural, cultural and political complexity of the city is a subject of endless questioning for a festival such as The Urbaines, present in institutional and alternative art venues but also in public spaces. In partnership with the Nestle pour l’Art foundation, we are taking this reflection further this year, and are looking forward to sharing it with you. .
