“Terra Incognita” – création

S’il reste une terre inconnue, il s’agit bien du cerveau. L’artiste tessinois en collectionne les représentations dans l’histoire de l’art et s’en inspire pour son travail. Pour Les Urbaines, il prend possession des abris de l’Arsenic où il tracera, à l’aide de divers pigments dans la terre, une reproduction de plusieurs de ses dessins. Le public sera invité, s’il le veut, à marcher sur cette “Terra Incognita”, qui ne cessera d’évoluer en prenant peu à peu la forme du passage des gens.

The artist from Ticino collects its representations throughout art history and uses them as an inspiration for his work. For the Urbaines, he takes over the Arsenic where he will draw, with the help of diverse pigments in the earth, a reproduction of several of his drawings. The public will be invited, if it so chooses, to walk on this “Terra Incognita” that will never cease to evolve in adopting little by little the form of people in motion.
