On doit parler cette fois “d’ovni absolu”. Inclassable et bourré d’humour, ce charmant Zürichois joue beaucoup avec l’idée de dilettantisme dans une sorte de karaoké savant pouvant juxtaposer musique traditionnelle javanaise et figures mythiques du modernisme. Prenant très au sérieux des choses a priori sans importance, il réussit toujours à demeurer sur le fil du rasoir, le public ne pouvant dire s’il est un artiste conceptuel, un humoriste, un musicien, un performer, un imposteur, un excentrique ou juste un type normal.

Unclassifiable and full of humour, this charming artist from Zurich likes to play with the idea of amateurishness in a sort of ingenious karaoke capable of juxtaposing traditional Javanese music and mythical figures of modernism. Taking apparently meaningless things very seriously, he always manages to stay on a razor’s edge, the public not being able to determine whether he is a conceptual artist, a humorist, a musician, a performer, an impostor, an eccentric or just a regular guy.
